I’m Chunzhuo Zhang (张淳卓). I received my Master’s degree in bioinformatics from Wageningen University & Research, after a Bachelor’s from Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University (NWAFU). I’m now working on biological foundation models — my journey runs from agriculture, to bioinformatics, to AI4Biology.
Earlier, I worked on protein representation, including protein structure representation with transformers and SE(3) graph neural networks. I’m currently working on single-cell foundation models.
In my free time, I work out at the gym, play basketball, and swim.
